Happy New Year!!!
I really can't believe it is 2012. Where oh where has the time gone??? As I sat and reflected on life during the past year, I caught myself going back many years, focusing on present time and looking ahead. Kirstyn is 18 and a senior in high school. She has a job and is planning for college soon. I couldn't be more proud of her and all she has done as a young lady. When Kirstyn was little it seemed like she would be little forever. I miss those days of my little Kirstyn. Jump to present time.....I have 2 beautiful grand daughters! WOW! I am a GRANDMA! Some days that sounds so funny to me but I LOVE being grammie and wouldn't change it for anything. I am very proud of our son and his beautiful wife. They are preparing for a new and exciting chapter in their life.....home ownership. YAY!!! I can't wait to see them all moved in and help out with any projects. Looking into 2012 and thinking of all the things coming our way, I quickly realized in six short weeks, Kaitlyn will turn 14. Again, she was just so little....ok she is still little as many of you know, but that isn't what I am talking about this time. I am so proud of Kaitlyn and all of her hard work with school. This next school year will be a big one as I will have a freshman in high school and a freshman in college. Holy smokes!!! I rarely feel old (not that I am old) but there are rare occasions when it hits me, I am getting old.
So many things to look forward to in 2012..... This is going to be a good year!!
Life has been so good to me and I thank GOD for all my blessings each and every day.
